Throughout the weekend, Phyllis will guide us through her powerful theme: “Chosen for His Glory: Made For More.” Across three sessions, we will explore what it means to move beyond mere "doing" and step into the fullness of who God designed us to be.

Chosen for His Glory: Made for More
The paradox of choice suggests that having too many choices may actually limit our freedom. But what if your Creator God helped to narrow your choices to his stunning and unique design because he has lovingly chosen you for his glory? Come join us to embrace his intimate calling on your life to be nourished - from God’s Word and through prayer - so that you might flourish! Our role models and travel companions for this self-discovery journey will be women from the book of Acts, each of whom can encourage you that you have been “made for more” - “chosen for his glory!”
OUR SPEAKER
As a retreat speaker, adjunct seminary instructor, Inspiring Women to Biblical Excellence team leader, and By Design board member, Phyllis Bennett is passionate about the Word of God and the gospel-centered transformation it can bring about in the lives of women, including her students. Married to the love of her life, Dave Bennett, Dave and Phyllis have pastored together four churches from “sea to shining sea” before more recently switching to a more global focus for Dave and a more regional focus for Phyllis in the Northwest. Their two married sons and eight grandchildren bring joy, delight, and adventure to their present season of life. They are passionate about staying in shape, eating well, reading broadly, and embracing life with Jesus at the center.
RETREAT DETAILS
The retreat begins Friday at 7:00 PM and concludes Saturday by 4PM. Check-in at the church is anytime after 6:00 PM. Registration materials will be available upon check-in.
We will be providing snacks, water, and coffee throughout the conference, and lunch on Saturday.
This year, because of its central location you will have the option to attend the retreat as a commuter or to stay overnight. The event itself will take place at New Life Church, and we have reserved a hotel block at the Homewood Suites that is just minutes from the church.
Accommodations
The hotel block special pricing allows us to reserve a King Suite that sleeps up to 4 for $155/night.
A full hot breakfast is included. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, and a 24-hour fitness center.
The rooms are available first come, first served, and the special rate will expire on March 17.
You can still book a room after that, but you will not be guaranteed our special rate.

Your retreat registration fee is transferable but non-refundable (i.e., another person can come in your place).
Registrations received after March 17th will be charged an additional $25.
